Speaker Profile

Travel program host and producer Chris Leung has hosted multiple eco-focused travel programs over the years, including ViuTV’s "Wander" series and J2’s "Backpack" series. He possesses extensive ecological knowledge and observation experience. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University, USA, and has interned in East African savanna reserves, observed whales up close in the Arctic Circle, camped on glaciers in Alaska, trekked through the Amazon rainforest at night, observed Komodo dragons in Indonesia, searched for giant tortoises and hammerhead sharks on the “Evolution Island” of the Galápagos, and tracked anteaters in South American grasslands.
